Language

This section allows you to manage languages used on your site

Note: You must have at least two languages for the Language drop down to appear on the front end of your site.

Edit Language

Use Edit Language tab to translate and edit phrases. Select needed language from the Language drop down menu. To find needed phrase select Section this phrase belongs to or use Search box if you are not sure in which section to search for.

Left column of Edit Language tab displays current name of the phrase and its text key (highlighted in green). User right column to translate or edit phrases.

To import/export languages, activate/deactivate and change order of existing ones use Available-Languages tab.

Available-Languages

If you have several languages drag and drop needed ones to change their order. Hover the mouse over needed language name to see language values, edit, clone and activate/deactivate options.

values- choose this option if you would like to translate/edit phrases.
edit - choose this options if you would like to change language name, ISO tag and language direction.Find our more about ISO here. System displays corresponding to ISO tags flags in user console. Make sure to specify correct ISO tags when adding/editing languages.
clone- choose this option to copy selected language.
deactivate/activate- choose this option to deactivate selected language.

Add a new language

To add new language use Add New Language (Language Pack) option.

After you click Add button, a page where you can select the language ( you can have more then one language in imported file) and sections (plugins) will appear. Select what you would like to import from this language package and click Import Selected button.

Export Languages

In the same manner if you would like to export your languages use Export Languages option.

Select items you would like to export from all languages and plugins and click Export Selected

Main Settings

Here you can manage basic and essential for your site settings like site name, email, time/date format and currency.

Site Installation

Site name - site name entered here will be displayed in Site name block on your site as well as a tabs' name.
Site email- enter email address from which your users will receive notifications and mass mailing.
Tag line - enter couple of sentences to describing your site. They will appear in Site name block on your site.
Description - enter couple of sentences to describe your site. They will be used in Meta description tag.

Time settings

Here you can set the date format and time settings.

User relative day/time - ex. “Yesterday, 5:31” instead of “June 1 '09, 5:31”
Use military time - the 24-hour clock is a convention of time keeping in which the day runs from midnight to midnight and is divided into 24 hours.

Finance

Here you can specify the currency that will be used on your site.

Page Settings

Here you can specify code added to HTML document head and tail areas (custom Javascript/CSS or META info) and enable favicon.

To display Favicon :

upload your own “favicon.ico” to the site root directory
enable it by checking Favicon checkbox.

SMTP

Use this page if you would like your site to send emails using SMTP. Contact your hosting company or your mail server provider to get required SMTP details. To make sure that entered smtp details work use Test Connection option.

User Settings

General

Show profile name as - allows to select either “username” or “real name” that will be used site wide.
Confirm email - when turned on users will have to verify email addresses before accessing the site.
Avatar image crop size - size of the avatar shown in all listings. You will also need to change your theme CSS.
Big avatar image crop size - avatar size shown on profile page.
Default avatar image - avatar that will be displayed if user doesn't upload his own image.
Avatar upload - let users upload avatar on registration
- display - makes “Avatar” field optional on registration field.
- display and set required - makes “Avatar” field required on registration field.
- hide- removed “Avatar” field from registration page.

Content Input

Here you can specify settings for the content users will be adding to your site.
